Mapei Design Fix is a free software tool used to calculate the dimensions of post-installed metal anchors and rebar using epoxy, urethane-methacrylate, vinylester and polyester chemical anchors from the Mapefix range.

The software, which may be downloaded free from www.mapei.it, is made up of various calculation modules that allow you to tackle any design situation: anchoring threaded bars in masonry, anchoring threaded bars in concrete and anchoring rebar in concrete and masonry. Mapei Design Fix also gives design engineers maximum flexibility of use, thanks to the free choice of numerous variables typically encountered when carrying out strengthening and structural connection work: anchors in tension or compressed zones, interventions in seismic areas, substrate type and condition, method used to drill the holes, length, diameter and grade of metal bar to be used. Apart from verifying the design data inserted, Mapei Design Fix also allows you to check every step of the calculation and displays both the intermediate values obtained and the calculation criteria adopted.
